Always Giving – An art Installation by Ruba Chamseddine
A group of women from Beirut participated in a six-day art workshop which consisted of collective discussions and creative expression around solidarity, empowerment, self-care, self-love, family protection, and society.
This artwork’s purpose is to make a statement, by changing the way we look at things, specifically in the issue related to Violence against women, and to create warmth and comfort inside the urban environment that is often perceived cold, depressing and unfriendly.

العطاء دائماً – عمل فني لربى شمس الدين
شاركت مجموعة من النساء من بيروت في ورشة عمل فنية لمدة ٦ أيام تضمنت مناقشات جماعية وتعبير إبداعي حول التضامن والتمكين والرعاية الذاتية وحب الذات وحماية الأسرة والمجتمع
يهدف هذا النشاط الفني الى تظهير طريقة جديدة وصحّية للنظر الى القضايا، وخصوصاً المتعلقة بالعنف ضد النساء، لخلق جو دافئ ومريح داخل بيئة المدن التي غالباً ما يُنظر اليها على إنها باردة ومحبطة ينقصها الكثير من الإلفة والمودة

Dream – Art Installation by Omar Abbass
This art sculpture on stone was created by a group of women from the Bekaa and installed in Baalback. It represents their concerns, fears, strengths and dreams.

حِلْم – نَحتْ الفنان عُمَر عبّاس
تم تشكيل هذه المنحوتة الصخرية بمشاركة مجموعة من النساء في منطقة البقاع وتم وضعه في مدينة بعلبك. يمثل هذا العمل مخاوف النساء ومكمن قوتهم وأحلامهم.

Towards the Light – Art Installation by Adelle Bittar
Thoughts, feelings and messages, from the women, written on the pebbles are to express their resilience and spread awareness for a hope of change.
This art installation represents the women’s battle in life and their fight for a better tomorrow.
The bird, half in black & half in white, symbolizes the resilient hard past and the better future they are trying to have.

نحو الضوء – تركيب فني للفنانة إديل البيطار
واطر ومشاعر ورسائل من النساء مكتوبة على الحَصى للتّعبير عن صمودهن ونشر الوعي بأمل التغيير. يُمثّل هذا التركيب الفني معركة النساء في الحياة وكفاحِهنَّ من أجل غد أفضل! يرمز الطائر، ذات النصف الأسود والنصف الأبيض، إلى الماضي الصعب الذي عايشته النساء، وإلى المستقبل الأفضل الذي يحاولن الحصول عليه

Awakening – Art Installation by Fatima Mortada
This work is a sculpture that represents the awakening of the female who was oppressed for thousands of years.

The age of this resurrection has started and there is no going back. In Spite of her wounds and suffering, she is standing in triumph and pride.

الصحوة – تركيب فنّي للفنانة فاطمة مرتضى
يُمَثِّل هذا التمثال صحوة الأنثى التي إضطُهدت منذ آلاف السنين، وقد بدأ عصر الإنبعاث والتجّدد ولا رجوع إلى الوراء.

يجسد هذا العمل اليوم وقوف المرأة على الرغم من جراحها ومعاناتها، بكل نصرٍ واعتزاز.

Express – Art Installation by Rania Amro
This graffiti artwork decorates a 17 meters wall in Sour, South Lebanon. It combines the women drawings reflecting their voices, their experiences, their resilience, as well as their rebellion and hope for a better future.

عَبّري – جداريات من رسم الفنانة رانيا عمرو
يزّين هذا العمل الفني (جرافيتي) حائطًا بطول 17 مترًا في مدينة صور جنوب لبنان. وهو يجمع بين رسومات النساء التي تعكس أصواتهن، وخبراتهن ومرونتهّن فضلاً عن تمردهن والأمل في مستقبل أفضل

Listen, Now – Art Installation by Christiane Assoury
This art installation combines the Women participants’ voices, their experiences, their resilience, as well as their rebel and hope for a better future. Negative words from the women’ past are represented graphically and covered with personal black fabric, representing the dark weight that everyone wants to leave behind. As for the positive words, they are represented in gold, emerging and flying towards a better future.
It is a call for awareness, anti-violence, support and change.

إسمعوا، الآن – تصميم الفنانة كريستيان عاصوري
يجمع هذا التصميم الفني بين أصوات النساء الحقيقية اللواتي شاركن في جلسات الحوار داخل ورشة العمل مع الفنانة، وبين خبراتهن ومرونتهن بالإضافة إلى تمّردهن وتطلعهن إلى الأمل بمستقبل أفضل. يمثّل هذا التصميم الكلمات السلبية التي مرت في حياة النساء المشاركات والتي إستُخرجت بشكل بياني وغطيت بقطعة نسيج سوداء مستخرجة من ثياب المشاركات. الأسود يمثل الثقل السوداوي الذي يريد الجميع التخلي عنه. أما الكلمات الإيجابية تشكلت من خلال اللون الذهبي، والذهبي يعني تخطي الصعوبات والتحليق نحو غدٍ أفضل

We are the eye with which you see the world – Art Installation by Omar Abbass
This art sculpture on stone was created by a group of women from the Bekaa and installed in Chmestar. It represents an eye from which faces of women with different expressions rise. On the sides of the faces are two books that express the power that knowledge gives to women.

نحن العين التي ترون العالم بها – نحت الفنان عُمَر عبّاس
قامت مجموعة من النساء من البقاع بالمشاركة بنحت هذا التمثال على الصخر، وتم تركيبه في بلدة شمسطار. يمثل التمثال عين ترتفع منها وجوه النساء ذات تعبيرات مختلفة. يوجد على جانبي الوجوه كتابان يعبران عن القوة التي تمنحها المعرفة للمرأة.

Movement – An Art Installation by Joe Khachan, Inanna Ibrahim, and Hammoud Hasan
A group of women from Jbeil and Nahr Ibrahim participated in a six-day art workshop which consisted of collective discussions and creative expression around solidarity, empowerment, self-care, self-love, family protection, and society. This art installation functions as an object of connection, reflection, and contemplation, on both individual and collective levels. You can admire it in the center of Jbeil.

الحركة – تركيب فني لجو خشان وإنانا إبراهيم وحمود حسن
شاركت مجموعة من السيدات من منطقة جبيل ونهر إبراهيم في ورشة عمل فنيّة لمدة ستة أيام تضمنت نقاشات جماعية وتعبير إبداعي حول التضامن والتمكين والرعاية الذاتية وحب الذات وحماية الأسرة والمجتمع. يعمل هذا التركيب الفني كموضوع للتواصل والتفكير والتأمل، على المستويين الفردي والجماعي.
